Progress continues to be made in drawing together all aspects of the project and the start of work is imminent. The change of windows is the priority and the manufacturing and installation work should begin soon. Work on the windows is scheduled to begin on 1st July, when the playgroup is off for the holidays.  During the time the sanctuary is out of action, Sunday services will be held in the Church Hall.   Apologies in advance for any inconvenience.

 

Tubes of smarties for tubes of silver- some smarties still available at the church door with sweets to be replaced by silver coins and returned by Sunday 18th February.

Below are two very different events that have been very successful in raising funds for the projects. There are a wide variety of exciting fund raising events planned for this year, so look out for our new posters around the local communities and on this website! You can view a number of photographs of these events on the Gallery page.

Our aim is to renovate the Church by:

  • Replacing the 6 main windows and

  • Upgrading the heating, lighting and sound system incorporating audio visual

The new six main Church  windows were installed in august 2019. The image opposite shows the three new windows on the South side of the Church. 

Schemes for heating, lighting and A.V. are the planning stages and being worked on with more information appearing here when available.

Estimated cost £175,000. Fundraising planning is now started

under the heading of Edzell Church Development Fund.
